BASF Thoroseal (MasterSeal 581)
A waterproof cement-based coating for concrete and masonry
MasterSeal 581 is a portland cement-based coating for concrete and masonry that resists both positive and negative hydrostatic pressure. Polymer-modified with MasterEmaco A 660, MasterSeal 581 creates a low maintenance and highly durable waterproof barrier.

Limitations: This product is not color uniform, adequately ventilate for proper curing in enclosed areas; not intended to be used as a wearing surface; protect surfaces not being coated; metal, glass and wood.
Technical Data:
- Coverage Rate: 1st Coat: 225 ft2/bag; 2nd Coat: 450 ft2/bag.
- Pot Life (70°F): 40-60 minutes.
- Set Time (70°F): Initial: 10 minutes, final: 90 minutes.
